The Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS-ENT) Service Provider track allows participants to demonstrate competence with Juniper Networks technology. Successful candidates demonstrate thorough understanding of Internet technology in general and Juniper Networks service provider routing and switching platforms.

Effective October 6, 2010, the JN0-343 Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist – Enterprise Routing and Switching (JNCIS-343) will become available. The JN0-101 exam (JNCIA-Junos) is a required prerequisite for attaining the JNCIS-ENT credential by passing the JN0-343 exam. . For this prerequisite, acceptable substitutions include: JNCIA-ER, JNCIS-ER, JNCIA-EX, JNCIA-M, and JNCIS-M.

With the release of the JN0-343, the JN0-350 will remain available until December 3, 2010. After December 3, 2010, new or existing candidates certifying initially or re-certifying will be required to take the JN0-343 exam.

Designed for experienced networking professionals with beginner to intermediate knowledge of routing and switching implementations in Junos. This written exam verifies the candidate’s basic understanding of routing and switching technologies and related platform configuration and troubleshooting skills.

JN0-343 (JNCIS-ENT) exam topics are based on the content of the Junos Intermediate Routing and the Junos Enterprise Switching instructor-led training courses. The JN0-101 exam (JNCIA-Junos) is a prerequisite to the JN0-343exam. Note: For this prerequisite, acceptable substitutions include: JNCIA-ER, JNCIS-ER, JNCIA-EX, JNCIA-M, and JNCIS-M.

The JNCIS-ENT certification is valid for two years. Recertification is achieved by passing the current version of the JN0-343 exam.
