The Apple Certified Trainer (ACT) program certifies industry professionals to deliver the Apple curriculum. Subjects range from Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server administration to Apple’s Pro Applications, including Aperture, Color, DVD Studio Pro, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Server, Logic Pro, Motion, and Soundtrack Pro. The goal of the ACT program is to ensure quality, consistency and accessibility of Apple training worldwide.

Program Overview

The ACT program prepares and qualifies individuals to deliver courses for Apple Authorized Training Centers. ACTs maintain a high standard of instructional preparedness through continued access to Apple’s technical resources. Candidates are qualified in technical proficiency and instructional skills by attending a Train-the-Trainer (T3) class.

Apple classes combine lecture, demonstration, and hands-on exercises, and utilize courseware developed by Apple experts or third-party industry experts. For more information on Apple courses, visit our courses page.

Apple offers two ACT tracks

  • The Pro Apps ACT track prepares individuals to teach Apple’s Pro Applications curriculum at Apple Authorized Training Centers (AATCs).
  • The IT ACT track prepares individuals to teach Apple’s Mac OS X curriculum at AATCs.
